DATE FOR THE DIARY Church Family Quiz Night Saturday 19th January 2019, 6.30pm for 7. £6.00 per adult, £4.00 per child (up to 16) Nibbles and lasagne supper included Donation Bar, please do not bring your own drinks.

 THANK YOU to everyone who helped decorate the church for Harvest; to everyone who brought beans etc. for Whitechapel; and to all who gave through Poverty & Hope which, with Gift Aid of £143, made a total of £775.

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our charity clothes sale in the Village Hall.  With your support and a generous donation from an anonymous parishioner, we have exceeded our target and raised a total of £655! We will be gifting £350 to both the Whitechapel Mission and Macmillan Cancer Research. The Golds Family

RACHEL, APPOINTMENT   Rachel Archer has been offered and has accepted the post of curate at St Mark’s, Biggin Hill. Her last Sunday with us will be 2nd June next year.

THE TIM BONIFACE BAND are playing Tim’s jazz suite The Eight Words and other jazz as part of the SELAH FESTIVAL OF CHRISTIAN MUSIC at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Holborn, London, on 3rd Nov, 19:30. Tickets available at https://hsl.church/events/selah or speak to Tim.

FILING CABINET We need a lockable 4 drawer filing cabinet at home or at work that you don’t need? If you can help, please contact Selina in the church office

COLLECTION COUNTERS WANTED   We are in need of some volunteers to count the collection. The day/time can be been arranged to suit (hopefully) but it helps us to maintain ‘best practice’ with the money that is given. I am also seeking all bakers – we want a really big push for cakes, tray bakes and mince pies this year. We will be selling whole cakes from the cake stall, and then slices of cake, tray bakes and individual mince pies from the refreshment counter.
