INTERREGNUM UPDATE Although work to find a new Rector couldn’t start formally until Alan had left, a small team had been drafting the Parish Profile, which tells potential candidates about the Parish, for almost four months. The PCC met on 10th February and approved the Parish Profile which will now be sent to the Bishop, and selected Sarah Cordwell and Anthony Faulkner as the two Parish Representatives to work with the Archdeacon to appoint the new Rector. There is no set time for this, but such appointments generally take between 9 and 12 months before the new Rector is installed. We are very fortunate to have Tim and June to help us through this period. If you have any questions, please do contact Sarah or Anthony.
LOOKOUT The new edition of Lookout, our Parish Magazine, is available having been held back to include coverage of Alan’s final service. Lookout has changed. It will now be published every 2 months: February/March; April/May; June/July; August/September; October/November and December/January 2021. There will be more pages and subscription cost will still be £10 for a year but individual copies will cost £2 each for the new thicker editions of Lookout. Subscription slips are available in the library corner. Subscribers wishing to pay by card should see Anthony Faulkner (churchwarden) at the 9.30 service today.
ASH WEDNESDAY If you have palm crosses that can be burned to provide the ash for Ash Wednesday, please place them in the box in the library corner.

ALLEGRI SINGERS Dear Friends, I do hope you will be able to join us for this special concert of music by Baltic Composers. I think you will find the music atmospheric, moving and maybe, different from music you have heard before. We are very excited to be singing, ‘Stars’ by Eriks Esenwalds ‘4 Shakespeare songs’ by Jaakko Mantyjarvi ‘Bogoriditsye Dyevo’ by Rachmaninov. Please bring your friends and if you sing in another choir, please would you tell your choir members about this concert too – Sue Ward.
