About St Nicholas Church, Chislehurst

We are a Church of England Parish Church wishing to express the love that God has shown us in Jesus Christ. We hold a variety of church services, and our congregation represents the many different ages and stages in life.

Our worship services are broadly traditional Church of England services, following Common Worship (the contemporary prayer book of the CofE) and also the Book of Common Prayer (the traditional prayer book from 1662).

There has been a worshipping congregation on our site for well over a thousand years. We are privileged to continue this tradition, and aspire to live as followers of Jesus with faith and joy in a rapidly changing world.

Alongside our regular services we also have a monthly ‘All Age Worship’ service in our church hall. We run Junior Church throughout the year, a youth group, and a number of things for adults to get involved within the week.

We value our connection to our local care homes, and our local Church of England School and other schools in the parish. Please explore our website to find out about the various things happening in our community.

Please see our ‘who’s who’ page to find out about our clergy and staff, and how to get in touch.

We hope you will find a warm welcome with us.
